很多人都會(huì)問(wèn):我要這么開(kāi)口和老板說(shuō)我要加薪?求加薪的確是個(gè)技術(shù)活,說(shuō)得好,不僅可以獲得期盼中的加薪,還可以讓老板意識(shí)到你的努力和工作成功;但是說(shuō)得不好,就有可能給老板留下唯利是圖的印象,甚至可能叫你收拾東西走人。
1.Don&apost bring up your co-worker&aposs salary. First of all, you may not have all your facts right, and bringing up your colleague&aposs salary will put your manager into an uncomfortable position. What you should do is compare what you&aposre making to the industry average. Using the industry average will rlect well on you and will show your boss that you&aposve been doing your research.
不要拿同事的薪水來(lái)說(shuō)事。首先,你可能并不知道全部的事實(shí),如果你拿同事的薪水來(lái)和經(jīng)理談加薪的話,就會(huì)把經(jīng)理陷于尷尬的處境。你要做的是和你所在行業(yè)的平均薪資水平作比較。這樣做可以很好地向你的老板說(shuō)明,你是有做過(guò)功課的。
2.Don&apost make it personal. The reason for your raise will be professional, so keep that in mind when you&aposre asking for more. What you need to do is write a list of your wins at work, which will show your boss that you do deserve that increase in salary.
不要涉及個(gè)人私事。你獲得加薪的理由應(yīng)該是你的專(zhuān)業(yè)表現(xiàn),所以你要拿專(zhuān)業(yè)表現(xiàn)來(lái)說(shuō)明問(wèn)題。你可以先列一張單子,指出你在工作中所做出的成績(jī),用事實(shí)告訴老板,你應(yīng)該獲得加薪。
3.Don&apost get emotional.If things are not going your way or if you feel that your employer is wronging you, don&apost get emotional. Collect yourself and don&apost let your boss see that you&aposre upset. Instead, take some time to think it over after your meeting to carully craft your next move.
不要情緒化。如果事情的發(fā)展不像你預(yù)料得那樣,或者你覺(jué)得老板誤解了你,不要情緒化。你應(yīng)該整理好自己的心情,別在老板面前顯得低落沮喪。相反,你需要花點(diǎn)時(shí)間仔細(xì)考慮下一步該怎么做。
4.Don&apost respond immediately if you&aposre unsure. If your boss offers you an alternative and not the raise you&aposre asking for, and if you have some doubt about it, don&apost immediately agree to it. Instead, ask her if you can take some time to think about it and let her know that you&aposll get back to her about her offer soon.
不要在不確定的情況下冒然決定。如果你的老板給你提供另外的選擇,而不是承諾你所希望的加薪,或者你對(duì)某些情況還不確定,那么就不要立刻表示同意。相反,你可以對(duì)老板說(shuō),能不能給我點(diǎn)時(shí)間考慮一下,并且告訴老板你會(huì)很快再去辦公室找她。
5.Don&apost be inflexible.If your company doesn&apost have the resources or the budget to give you the raise you want right now, there can be other arrangements you can make with your boss in the meantime. Perhaps more paid time off days or the opportunity to work from home — find out what your manager is willing to give you in lieu of a raise.
不要頑固不化。如果你的公司暫時(shí)沒(méi)有給你加薪的預(yù)算,那么你可以和老板談一下,看看有沒(méi)有其他的安排可以彌補(bǔ),比如說(shuō)帶薪假期或者在家工作??纯蠢习逶跊](méi)有加薪的前提下,愿意給你什么樣的補(bǔ)償。
6.Don&apost give ultimatums.People don&apost respond to threats very well and your manager will not be very happy if you give her an ultimatum. If you have other job opportunities, don&apost wave them in her face — just gracully move on if you have better chance of advancing elsewhere.
不要下最后通牒。人們都不喜歡被威脅。你給老板下最后通牒,老板肯定會(huì)不高興。如果你找好了新工作,別在老板面前得瑟。你只需要優(yōu)雅地轉(zhuǎn)身就好。
