中國77所大學領跑THE最新榜單：北大排第一.

　　ONDON, Dec. 1 (Xinhua) -- Times Higher Education (THE) on Wednesday reveals its BRICS & Emerging Economies University Rankings 2017. China’s institutions dominate, taking seven of the top 10 places, led by Peking University (1st) and Tsinghua University (2nd), and 77 in the ranking overall.

　　新華社倫敦12月1日電 《泰晤士報高等教育》(THE)于本周三發(fā)布了2017年金磚國家和新興經(jīng)濟體大學排名。中國高校領跑榜單，其中前10強中占據(jù)七席，北京大學排名第一，清華大學排名第二，另有77所大學上榜。

　　Accounting for one in six of universities in the ranking, the Chinese mainland is home to the highest density of leading institutions in the developing world.

　　中國大陸的大學占據(jù)榜單六分之一的名額，成為發(fā)展中國家中頂尖學府最為密集的地區(qū)。

　　Meanwhile, Taiwan has 25 universities in this year’s expanded ranking of 300 institutions.

　　同時，臺灣今年在前300所高等學府中有25所大學。

　　An impressive 38 of China’ s universities make the top 100, while seven make the elite top 10, including University of Science and Technology of China (5th), Fudan University which rose 11 places to reach sixth place this year, Shanghai Jiaotong University (7th), Zhejiang University (9th), Nanjing University (11th), and Wuhan University (21th).

　　值得注意的是，中國有38所大學位居前百，其中有七所大學名列前10，包括中國科技大學(第5名)、從11名上升至今年第六名的復旦大學、上海交通大學(第7名)、浙江大學(第9名)、南京大學(第11名)和武漢大學(第21名)。

　　Meanwhile Tongji University makes the top 25 at joint 24th place for the first time after jumping 28 places.

　　同時，同濟大學在進入第28名之后，首次名列前25名，位居第24名。

　　China has introduced powerful policy drives, backed with serious funding, to produce world-class universities.

　　在大量資金的支持下，中國為了打造出世界級大學已經(jīng)引進了強有力的政策驅(qū)動。
