中國(guó)77所大學(xué)領(lǐng)跑THE最新榜單：北大排第一.

　　ONDON, Dec. 1 (Xinhua) -- Times Higher Education (THE) on Wednesday reveals its BRICS & Emerging Economies University Rankings 2017. China’s institutions dominate, taking seven of the top 10 places, led by Peking University (1st) and Tsinghua University (2nd), and 77 in the ranking overall.

　　新華社倫敦12月1日電 《泰晤士報(bào)高等教育》(THE)于本周三發(fā)布了2017年金磚國(guó)家和新興經(jīng)濟(jì)體大學(xué)排名。中國(guó)高校領(lǐng)跑榜單，其中前10強(qiáng)中占據(jù)七席，北京大學(xué)排名第一，清華大學(xué)排名第二，另有77所大學(xué)上榜。

　　Accounting for one in six of universities in the ranking, the Chinese mainland is home to the highest density of leading institutions in the developing world.

　　中國(guó)大陸的大學(xué)占據(jù)榜單六分之一的名額，成為發(fā)展中國(guó)家中頂尖學(xué)府最為密集的地區(qū)。

　　Meanwhile, Taiwan has 25 universities in this year’s expanded ranking of 300 institutions.

　　同時(shí)，臺(tái)灣今年在前300所高等學(xué)府中有25所大學(xué)。

　　An impressive 38 of China’ s universities make the top 100, while seven make the elite top 10, including University of Science and Technology of China (5th), Fudan University which rose 11 places to reach sixth place this year, Shanghai Jiaotong University (7th), Zhejiang University (9th), Nanjing University (11th), and Wuhan University (21th).

　　值得注意的是，中國(guó)有38所大學(xué)位居前百，其中有七所大學(xué)名列前10，包括中國(guó)科技大學(xué)(第5名)、從11名上升至今年第六名的復(fù)旦大學(xué)、上海交通大學(xué)(第7名)、浙江大學(xué)(第9名)、南京大學(xué)(第11名)和武漢大學(xué)(第21名)。

　　Meanwhile Tongji University makes the top 25 at joint 24th place for the first time after jumping 28 places.

　　同時(shí)，同濟(jì)大學(xué)在進(jìn)入第28名之后，首次名列前25名，位居第24名。

　　China has introduced powerful policy drives, backed with serious funding, to produce world-class universities.
