【新詞新意】數(shù)字游民 digital nomad.

　　網(wǎng)絡(luò)出現(xiàn)以后，都市里開(kāi)始流行SOHO，只要有一根網(wǎng)線，很多工作就可以在家里完成，不用再擠車上班，熬點(diǎn)下班。隨著網(wǎng)絡(luò)技術(shù)的日新月異，SOHO已經(jīng)不算什么了。現(xiàn)在流行的是digital nomad，只要在無(wú)線網(wǎng)絡(luò)覆蓋范圍內(nèi)，人家想在哪兒辦公就在哪兒辦公，連家都不用待了。

　　Digital nomad rers to a person who uses technology, particularly wireless networking, to work without requiring an office or other fixed address.

　　數(shù)字游民指無(wú)需辦公室等固定工作地點(diǎn)，而是利用技術(shù)手段，尤其是無(wú)線網(wǎng)絡(luò)技術(shù)完成工作的人。

　　Being digital nomads, they work — clad in shorts, T-shirts and sandals — wherever they find a wireless Web connection to reach their colleagues via instant messaging, Twitter, Facebook, e-mail and occasionally by voice on their iPhones or Skype.

　　數(shù)字游民們穿著短褲、T恤和涼鞋，在任何可以找到無(wú)線網(wǎng)絡(luò)的地方通過(guò)Twitter、Facebook及電郵等即時(shí)消息工具與同事聯(lián)絡(luò)，有時(shí)還會(huì)通過(guò)iPhone或Skype進(jìn)行語(yǔ)音聯(lián)絡(luò)。

　　As digital nomads, experts say, they represent a natural evolution in teleworking. The Internet let millions of wired people work from home; now, with widespread WiFi, many have cut the wires and lt home (or the dreary office) to work where they please.

　　專家表示，數(shù)字游民代表著遠(yuǎn)程辦公領(lǐng)域的一個(gè)自然發(fā)展趨勢(shì)。因特網(wǎng)讓數(shù)百萬(wàn)的“線上”人士在家辦公;如今，隨著無(wú)線網(wǎng)絡(luò)的廣泛發(fā)展，很多人已經(jīng)切斷網(wǎng)線、離開(kāi)家(或沉悶的辦公室)，到他們喜歡的地方去完成工作了。
