【新詞新意】不像假期的假期 fake-ation.

　　身邊有一些極度離不開(kāi)工作的朋友，哪怕休假期間也要時(shí)常與公司同事聯(lián)系，定期查閱工作郵件，遇到緊急狀況可能還要中斷休假回公司解決問(wèn)題。這樣不停被工作打擾的假期其實(shí)都不能算假期了，這只能被稱為fake-ation。

　　Fake-ation is a vacation where a significant amount of time is spent reading email and performing other work-related tasks, also spelled as fakeation or fakation.

　　Fake-ation指休假期間大部分時(shí)間都用來(lái)查閱電子郵件及完成與工作相關(guān)的任務(wù)，可稱之為“不像假期的假期”。另外，這個(gè)詞也可拼寫為fakeation 或fakation。

　　It&aposs a fake vacation. You stay connected and though you&aposre not in the office, you still do all the things you&aposd normally do if you were at your desk and in your office.

　　這其實(shí)就不能算是假期。你時(shí)刻與單位保持聯(lián)系，雖然你不在辦公室，但你仍然在做那些你平時(shí)在辦公室做的那些事情。

　　The word fake-ation has as many meanings as it does spellings:

　　1. Calling in sick when you&aposre healthy.

　　2. A miserable or problem-filled vacation.

　　3. A pretend vacation where you stay at home but take steps to make it appear as so you went away (e.g., applying tanning cream).
