批評與自我批評.

　　中共中央總書記、國家主席、中央軍委主席習9月23日至25日在河北參加省委常委班子黨的群眾路線教育實踐活動專題民主生活會并發(fā)表重要講話。他強調(diào)，批評和自我批評是解決黨內(nèi)矛盾的有力武器。

　　He urged CPC members, especially officials at various levels, tocourageously and constantly relay criticisms and self-criticismsso as to boost unity and implementation of democratic centralism.

　　習要求全體黨員，特別是各級領(lǐng)導干部大膽進行、經(jīng)常進行批評和自我批評，以此促進團結(jié)和民主集中制的貫徹執(zhí)行。

　　習指出，批評與自我批評(criticisms and self-criticisms)是解決黨內(nèi)矛盾(contradictionswithin the Party)的有力武器(forcul weapons)。在此次專題民主生活會上，河北省委常委班子對照形式主義(formalism)、官僚主義(bureaucracy)、享樂主義(hedonism)和奢靡之風(extravagance)的種種表現(xiàn)，總結(jié)問題、剖析原因。

　　批評與自我批評是黨的群眾路線(mass line)教育實踐活動的一部分。群眾路線就是一切為了群眾，一切依靠群眾，從群眾中來，到群眾中去(doing everything for the masses, relying on themin every task, carrying out the principle of “from the masses, to the masses”)。
