Generation rent 租房一代.

　　買房還是租房?對(duì)于很多在大城市漂泊的年輕人來(lái)說(shuō)，這其實(shí)都不算是個(gè)問題。因?yàn)樵诋?dāng)前這樣的形勢(shì)下，租房肯定是多數(shù)人的長(zhǎng)期選擇。大家都是generation rent。

　　Generation rent rers to the generation of people born from the eighties onwards, who because of changes in the economic situation are more likely to rent their homes than buy them.

　　Generation rent(租房一代)指出生于上世紀(jì)八十年代及以后，由于經(jīng)濟(jì)形勢(shì)的變化多選擇租房而非買房的一代人。

　　Owning your own home (or rather part-owning it with the bank!) has always been the norm in the UK, with those whose financial circumstances permit usually choosing to buy rather than rent. This is a phenomenon unique to Britain and contrasts with the rest of Europe and the USA, where renting is the usual option. Changes in the economic situation during the past few years however have made it increasingly difficult for first-time buyers to get started in the property market, so that there is an emerging generation, the so-called generation rent, who may never own their own homes.

　　擁有自己的房子(或者跟銀行共同擁有一個(gè)房子!)一直都是英國(guó)人通行的做法，經(jīng)濟(jì)條件允許的人一般都選擇買房而不是租房。英國(guó)的這一獨(dú)特現(xiàn)象與歐洲和美國(guó)的情況形成對(duì)比，上述兩地區(qū)的人通常都選擇租房。不過，過去幾年經(jīng)濟(jì)形勢(shì)的變遷讓很多初次購(gòu)房者面對(duì)房產(chǎn)市場(chǎng)望而卻步。由此誕生了所謂的“租房一代”，他們可能永遠(yuǎn)都無(wú)法擁有一套自己的房子。
