　　Since his death in 2011, Apple mastermind Steve Jobs has been the subject of documentaries, books, a film and even a graphic novel. Now the technology pioneer will be immortalized in song as the focus of an upcoming opera.

　　自2011年去世之后，蘋果之父史蒂夫·喬布斯成了多部紀(jì)錄片和書籍、一部電影、甚至還有一部漫畫小說的主題。現(xiàn)在，喬布斯又將會(huì)成為未來一部歌劇的主題，這位科技先驅(qū)將在歌聲中永垂不朽。

　　The Santa Fe Opera, based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, announced on August 5 that it has commissioned a new production based on Jobs that will premier in 2017. Entitled 'The Revolution of Steve Jobs', it will find the creator of the computer mouse and iPhone rlecting on his own mortality while recalling people and events from his life that inspired him.

　　圣塔菲歌劇院位于美國新墨西哥州阿爾布開克市。8月5日該劇院宣布，已經(jīng)委托他人制作一部以喬布斯為主題的作品，于2017年首映。在這部名為《改變時(shí)代的史蒂夫?喬布斯》的歌劇中，這位電腦鼠標(biāo)和iPhone的發(fā)明者，在回憶人生歷程中曾啟發(fā)過他的人和事時(shí)，也在反思自己的命運(yùn)。

　　Jobs operated from in his garage in Los Altos, California, and with partner Steve Wozniak released the compact Apple II at the time Albuquerque was a technology hub. He was fired from Apple in 1985 in a board coup but came back 11 years later. On his second tour, he introduced the iMac, the iPod and the iPhone. That journey is the perfect story for an opera, General Director Charles MacKay said.

　　喬布斯從他在加州洛斯阿爾托斯市的車庫起步，他和合伙人史蒂夫·沃茲尼亞克發(fā)布了輕巧的第二代蘋果機(jī)，當(dāng)時(shí)阿爾布開克還是科技中心。1985年，他在蘋果公司董事會(huì)的一次意外決策中被開除，11年后重新歸來。在他第二次任職期間，他推出了iMac、iPod 和iPhone。總監(jiān)查爾斯?麥凱說這段歷程是最好的歌劇素材。

　　He added: 'We are delighted to take this journey into the life and legacy of a distinctly American figure through the creative genius of Mason Bates and Mark Campbell.' Composer Bates, and Campbell, a librettist, will be co-writing the production.

　　Bates said the story of Jobs is a great intersection of creativity, innovation and human communication. His relationship with those who helped him along that journey also will help tell the story in the opera, Bates added.

　　貝茨說，喬布斯的故事很好地融合了創(chuàng)造力、創(chuàng)新和人類交流這三種元素。在喬布斯的一生中，許多人都曾幫助過他，他們之間的關(guān)系將有助于歌劇故事的講述。

　　He said: 'Each character will have their own music. When they collide, that's when it gets interesting.'

　　他說：“每個(gè)人物都有自己的音樂。當(dāng)這些音樂碰撞交融的時(shí)候，便是故事的趣味所在。”
