　　雪城大學（Syracuse University），是美國一所私立綜合性研究型一流大學，是美國國家一級研究型大學，該校成立于1870年，坐落于美國紐約州雪城（Syracuse）市內(nèi)。其建筑學院、信息學院、計算機科學與工程學院、Maxwell公民與公共事務學院、Newhouse公共傳播學院、視覺與表演藝術學院、教育學院均在美國名列前茅，在各學科領域中成就卓著并影響巨大，在美國政界及國際上有巨大影響力，是世界一流名校。

　　澳際教育介紹，自19世紀末以來，先后有800多名雪城大學的畢業(yè)生擔任美國國會參議員、眾議員、聯(lián)邦政府的高級官員以及州長和州政府的高級官員，多位雪城大學的畢業(yè)生擔任美國著名研究型大學（包括紐約大學、麻省大學、華盛頓大學、哥倫比亞大學、麻省理工學院、亞利桑那州立大學、紐約州立大學等）的校長、副校長等職位。因此，雪城大學贏得了“美國政治家搖籃”的美譽，也是培養(yǎng)美國著名大學校長的搖籃之一。在政治界、人文社會科學、自然科學、藝術學等各個領域，均培養(yǎng)了一大批杰出畢業(yè)生。美國現(xiàn)任副總統(tǒng)喬·拜登，于1968年畢業(yè)于雪城大學，獲得法學博士學位（J.D.），是雪城大學眾多杰出校友之一。

　　雪城大學的拉丁文校訓是 “ Suos Cultores Scientia Coronat ” ，中文意思是 “ 知識為追尋她的人加冕 ” （Knowledge crowns those who seek her）。在雪城大學的憲章上，書寫著“光明與真知” 兩個字，這也構成了雪城大學最核心的精神。
