　　Princess clan is a workplace expression used to describe those who were mostly born after 1985, take their job as play, pay too much attention to their own needs and are too socially unsophisticated to heed public standards.

　　“格格黨”是職場(chǎng)的一種稱呼，指的是85后出生，視工作如兒戲，過(guò)度關(guān)注自己的利益，無(wú)法得到社會(huì)公共標(biāo)準(zhǔn)認(rèn)同的這樣一群人。

　　Called “princess clan”, but the term doesn’t necessarily rer to females only. The word “princess” here has two implications: first, “ge ge”, the Chinese equivalent for “princess”, means people in this clan are mostly spoiled and thus very much self-centered; second, “ge ge” is also the first two words of the Chinese idiom “ge ge bu ru (square peg in a round hole)”, implying that those people cannot fit in the workplace philosophy.

　　雖然叫做“格格黨”，但這個(gè)稱呼并不僅僅指女性。“格格”這個(gè)詞在這里有兩重意思：第一，“格格”表示這一類人多是嬌生慣養(yǎng)，以自我為中心;第二，“格格”同時(shí)也是成語(yǔ)“格格不入”的前兩個(gè)字，暗示這些人在職場(chǎng)中格格不入。
