　　Lie to Me is an American crime drama television series. It originally ran on the Fox network from January 21, 2009 to January 31, 2011. In the show, Dr. Cal Lightman (Tim Roth) and his colleagues in The Lightman Group acceptassignments from third parties (commonly local and federal lawenforcement), and assist in investigations, reaching the truth through applied psychology: interpreting microexpressions, through the Facial ActionCoding System, and body language.

　　A microexpression is a bri, involuntary facial expression shown on the face of humans when one is trying to conceal or repress an emotion. They usually occur in high stakes situations, where people have something to lose or gain.

　　微表情是人在試圖隱藏或者控制某種情緒時(shí)不自覺(jué)地表現(xiàn)出來(lái)、且持續(xù)時(shí)間很短的一種面部表情。微表情通常會(huì)在人們經(jīng)歷得失、情況危急的時(shí)候出現(xiàn)。

　　A microexpression is a bri (as fast as 1/25 of a second), involuntary facial expression showing disgust, anger, fear, sadness, happiness, surprise, andcontempt. They are not culturally determined, but universal across human cultures. Unlike regular facial expressions, it is extremely difficult to fake microexpressions. And, no one can fake it above a certain level.

　　微表情出現(xiàn)的時(shí)間非常短暫(幾乎為1/25秒)，是一種在無(wú)意識(shí)狀態(tài)下表現(xiàn)出厭惡、憤怒、恐懼、悲傷、幸福、驚訝以及輕蔑這七種情緒。它們不是由某種文化所決定的，而是人類共有的。不像一些規(guī)律性的面部表情，要假裝出微表情非常難。而且，沒(méi)有人能夠以假亂真超過(guò)某個(gè)程度。
