　　插入語是在句中插入的一個獨立成分，不做句子的任何成分，不與句子其它成分有語法關系，是SAT語法考試中比較著重考察的知識點，尤其是在SAT改進句子題型當中。插入語起的主要作用就是對句中的某一部分解釋、補充說明、總結;表明說話者的態(tài)度;強調(diào)。

　　SAT改進句子中插入語最大的解題原則就是，插入語刪掉之后，整個句子結構仍然是完整的!

　　1.常用做插入語的介詞短語：

　　in addition，in one’s opinion, in general, in a word，for example， as a result，on the contrary, on the other hand，as a matter of fact

　　His wife is my daughter, in other words, I am his mother-in-law.

　　2.動詞V-ing用做插入語

　　Strictly speaking, considering, talking of, judging by, judging from

　　Judging by her clothes, she may comes from the Northern part.

　　3.常用做插入語的短句

　　I’m afraid, I think , I believe, this is to say, as we know , believe it or not，it seems,what’s more

　　Some animals are half-hibernate, that’s to say their sleep is not so deep.

　　4.常用做插入語的不定式

　　To be frank, to tell you the truth, to sum up, to start with

　　To sum up, because of various favorable conditions that we enjoy, there is no doubt that we will be able to catch up with the advanced countries.

　　5.常用做插入語的形容詞或短語：

　　true，wonderful，excellent，strange to say，most important of all, sure等

　　Strange to say, he doesn’t receive my birthday gift.

　　6.常用做插入語的副詞或短語：

　　indeed，or rather，frankly，personally, surely，fortunately，otherwise，honestly, probably

　　You&aposd better give me my book, otherwise I&aposll fail my test.

　　注意：插入語獨立性比較強，基本上都會用標點符號隔開。(通常插入語前后都有逗號)
