The Faculty of Land and Food Systems at the University of British Columbia () is seeking outstanding candidates for three full-time, tenure stream positions: one in Food Science and two in Human Nutrition. These positions, at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, are within the Food, Nutrition and Health Program. The anticipated start date is July 1, 2016.

Applicants should have a PhD (or be near completion), supplemented with postdoctoral experience or other distinguishing attributes. Candidates should demonstrate potential for outstanding research, ideally in the priority areas: food processing and food chemistry for Food Science; and clinical nutrition, nutritional biochemistry and public health for Human Nutrition. The successful applicants must also demonstrate strong potential for excellence in teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, and the ability to complement the current teaching programs. The Faculty of Land and Food Systems uses student-centered learning to educate new generations of scientists equipped to solve the most fundamental issues faced by society.
