GRE sub：許多Top的學校在申請的要求里都不強制要求申請者提交數(shù)學Sub的成績。雖不要求，但大多數(shù)學校會建議學生提交Sub的成績——這點說明如若能取得一個不錯的數(shù)學Sub成績會對申請增色不少。一般來說，Sub考到90%以上的比例算是很不錯的。
GRE和TOEFL：和其他專業(yè)的碩士項目申請一樣，Top的學校對托福的要求為100，比如Johns Hopkins University (約翰霍普金斯大學)。華盛頓大學要求申請者的托?？谡Z在26分以上。大部分美國的學校對GRE的成績沒有最低要求，但既然是申請對數(shù)學有一定要求的統(tǒng)計，GRE 的數(shù)學部分取得高分就很關(guān)鍵了。
