　　根據(jù)2010 US NEWS最新大學排名，Master of Public Policy/ Public Analysis 的前15所院校分別為：

　　工作經(jīng)驗要求：

　　其中Syracuse U，Princeton U及 UNC–Chapel Hill對許多申請者來說都是不推薦的，原因是他們對申請者的工作背景有很高的要求(7年以上)。而大部分的申請者都是沒有什么工作背景，或則只有少量的工作經(jīng)驗。Carnegie Mellon U 要求申請人有3年或以上的工作經(jīng)驗，其余的學院都對申請者的工作經(jīng)驗表示歡迎，但強調(diào)并不是主要的錄取條件。

　　G/T成績要求：

　　美國MPP/MPA前15所學院對G/T的要求都比較相近，其中Harvard U, Carnegie Mellon U還可以用gmat成績來代替gre成績，可見MPP/MPA對申請者的邏輯分析能力還是有一定要求的。根據(jù)數(shù)據(jù)顯示，Duke U對G/T的要求最高，GRE中的 Q:724, A:5.4, V:650, IBT需要達到115分以上。Georgetown U對IBT的要求最低，申請者只需要有80或以上就可以申請了，相當于舊托福的550分。University of Wisconsin–Madison的IBT則需要達到92或以上就可以申請了。其余的學院對 G/T的要求是GRE的Q:>=710, V:>=620, A:>=5, IBT:>=100。相信這個分數(shù)要求對絕大多數(shù)的申請者來說應(yīng)該不算太難，畢竟是專業(yè)排名前15名的學院。

　　文書要求：

　　所有的學院都需要提供PS或者Essays。其中Harvard U要求的essay數(shù)量最多，需要寫5篇，并且每篇的字數(shù)不少于750字。像是U of Chicago就要求申請者的essay 不要超過3頁紙。其中UC- Berkeley, U of Michigan–Ann Arbor, Duke U, Georgetown U, U of Wisconsin–Madison 和 UCLA都需要提供非常清晰詳細的PS。比方說，Duke U 對PS要求是：

　　“Write a statement (1-2 pages, in a 12 point font) indicating your purposes and objectives in undertaking graduate study, your special interests and plans, and your strengths and weaknesses in your chosen field. Brily describe any research projects or any independent research in which you have actively participated and indicate how this has influenced your career choice and desire to pursue graduate studies.”
