【新詞新意】手機(jī)幻聽 ringxiety.

　　辦公室里，鍵盤敲擊聲和手機(jī)鈴聲此起彼伏。明明不是自己電話響，卻還是忍不住要拿出手機(jī)來看一眼。過了一會(huì)兒，似乎感覺到放手機(jī)的地方在振動(dòng)，趕緊掏兜看手機(jī)，哦，原來手機(jī)并沒有響動(dòng)。你是不是也有過這樣的經(jīng)歷?告訴你吧，這種情況就是我們常說的“手機(jī)幻聽”，在英文里叫ringxiety。

　　Ringxiety is a portmanteau neologism formed from the words "ringtone" and "anxiety." Ringxiety is described as the sensation and the false beli that one can hear his or her mobile phone ringing or feel it vibrating, when in fact the telephone is not doing so.

　　Ringxiety(手機(jī)幻聽)是由ringtone(手機(jī)鈴聲)和anxiety(焦慮)兩個(gè)詞組合而成的一個(gè)詞，指在手機(jī)沒有響動(dòng)的情況下，人們聽到手機(jī)響或者感到其振動(dòng)的錯(cuò)覺。

　　Other terms for this concept include phantom ring fect and fauxcellarm. The reasoning for this relates partially to the idea that humans are particularly sensitive to auditory tones between 1,000 and 6,000 hertz, and basic mobile phone ringers often fall within this range. False vibrations are less well understood, however, and could have psychological or neurological sources.

　　其他可以用來指代“手機(jī)幻聽”的說法還有phantom ring fect和fauxcellarm。導(dǎo)致這一現(xiàn)象的部分原因可能是人類對(duì)1000到6000赫茲的聲音頻率比較敏感，而手機(jī)鈴聲大都在這一頻率范圍內(nèi)。錯(cuò)覺手機(jī)振動(dòng)的反應(yīng)就不太好解釋了，可能有心理或神經(jīng)方面的原因。
