　　首先，way的本義是“路”，很簡(jiǎn)單。從“路”引申出來(lái)的含義就非常多了。(立即咨詢)

　　1. way可以表示“方法”比如what do you think it the best way to learn English?

　　2. 渠道，This young man managed to find a way to the business world.

　　3. 表示做事的方式，The teacher talked with tom in a friendly way.

　　4. 表示“這樣、那樣”，let’s do it this way, I want it that way(這不正好是一首歌的名字嗎).

　　5. 部分、方面，He is correct in one way. 從某方面來(lái)說(shuō)他是對(duì)的。Free education makes sense in many ways. 從很多方面來(lái)說(shuō)，免費(fèi)教育都是有道理的。

　　6. 距離，we still have a long way to go bore we pass IELTS.

　　7. 擋路，IELTS is in my way to UK.雅思擋著我去英國(guó)的路了。

　　8. 讓路, give way;取代，Paper books will give way to electronic books sooner or later.

　　9. 規(guī)劃中，the new library is under way

　　10. 情況，Their family is in a bad way.

　　11. 表示癖好，Everybody has his ways.

　　12. 表示可能性，this could go either way

　　13. 不管怎樣，one way or another

　　14. 顛倒，the other way around

　　15. 努力，I got out of my way to learn English

　　16. 按照某人的意愿發(fā)展，Things don’t always go your way.

　　再來(lái)幾個(gè)合成/復(fù)合詞大家感受一下：

　　One-way:單向，this is a one-way street; 單程：one-way ticket to UK.

　　Two-way:It is a two-way street.雙向的，你來(lái)我往的，相互的過(guò)程(隱喻單靠一邊是搞不定的)。比如Bribery is a two-way street. 賄賂得有人行賄有人受賄才行。

　　Halfway: 半路，中途，一半
